Analysis of Is anyone there?

Melissa Wines 1977 (California)

Is anyone there? I sit here all alone, drowning in this sea of silence. I dive deep into my soul, and to my despair it was bare. Is anyone there? I thought that's where my demons hide, but as the silent sea swallows me, I can see that in my mind is where they reside. Tormenting me daily, but who will care? Is anyone there?
