Analysis of Gomer and Carter

Gomer Pyle
loves to smile
when he does his chores.
He makes his bed, he shines his shoes, he even sweeps the floors.

Sargent Carter
doing his charter
is praying for the day
when private Gomer becomes a roamer, and stays the heck away.
