Analysis of Salute to the New Year.
Brijmohansajal 1946 (India)
This year has gone,
Salute to the new year,
On new year day
Keep spreading new light,
May my Country prosper
With blessings,
May be new every enthusiasm,
May be new every wave,
Farewell to the old hopes,
Salute to the new breath........
New year morning will be
Celebrated with new celebration,
With new successful ideas,
May the new be faith,
Forget the old enmity
On the name of new friendship,
Farewell to the old memories,
Salute to the new year.........
This year has gone,
Salute to the new start...........

About this poem
Long back I wrote this poem in Hindi, it was a song, if I don't forget it was written during 1970, I worked hard to translate in English exactly not the same but because of English put I was forced to add different stanzas for English put. I will be pleased to know if it is liked by the viewers.
