Analysis of A silent half filled cup
Solacethepoet 2002 (South Africa)
The silent sob in my heart
gets louder at night.
All the thoughts and emotions
I relentlessly run from throughout
my days catch up at night.
With each passing moment
I cease to feel an ounce of
life within me.
As I stare at the ceiling
I think to myself....
"There was a time where I felt it all.
The rush, the smiles and happiness.
now I just feel emptiness, a void.
The emptiness of the void and it's
growth with each passing moment"
