Analysis of You and I

Jessica Reeves 1985 (Columbia)

These two hearts have been torn apart, from the world ,the bad relationships, and people that live around us. It's hard to open up and give yourself to someone, not knowing that the man you're with today, may not have been there in the beginning, but will always be there till the end. If you open your heart and let me in, you'll never fall apart ever again. We might have sad days but never bad days, your smile will be worth a million stars to me, but your heart will be held in every inch of me. That I'll never want to be in a dream without you in it. I would like us to try, and see if we wasn't meant to be. I'll protect you, keep you warm at night. When you're dreaming so bright, I'll always kiss you good-morning, and goodnight. You're worth more than you know, and I think we should give it that chance, because soulmates are once in a lifetime.
