Analysis of Promises To Promise

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

Words?
Words are only worth,
The definition of them given.
To interpret as one does to choose.
Although...
There is a word,
Action!
Needing less to explain its definition.
Or meaning.
To acknowledge an observation seen.
Without promises to promise them.
Whether or not that promise,
Actually becomes a reality.
This is a promise and not a certainty.

Yet...
Awaiting for the delivery of a promise.
May include to introduce,
The feeling of doubt.
To begin without a word heard to explain,
Coming out of anyone's mouth.
Since date and time to give it,
Is seldom heard in ears to clearly hear...
A 'when' that relieves one's anticipation!

'As long as I owe you,
You will never go broke!'

'Huh?
And...
What does that mean?'

'My word is as good as your perception!'

'My perception?
And what perception should that be?'

'Well...
There is always a dictionary somewhere.
And I am sure,
Perception if spelled correctly,
Is easily found to find it defined!
Check it out.
Some words given definition,
In reality?
Could mean anything.
You know what I'm saying?'
