Analysis of Rain in my Pocket

Someone once told me,
If I carry rain in my pocket
I would be able to harvest the thoughts
Sown deep in my heart.

The longing for completeness
Would be answered by showers;
But I would have to walk forever,
Carrying a home in my heart.

And so I walk, losing the world behind,
On the line dividing sanity and peace;
I meet people, cross valleys and mountains,
Laughing and crying, alone, and with some others.

I would be sitting right in front of you,
And yet you wouldn't be able to find me;
For I'd be lost somewhere inside of my mind,
Showering in the rain in my pocket;

And when we would be done talking gloom,
I would carry on,
Keeping that rain safe in my pocket;
Because

Someone once told me,
If I carry rain in my pocket
I would be able to harvest the thoughts
Sown deep in my heart.

About this poem

To be honest, I don't remember what inspired me to write this, or if there was any inspiration at all. I don't think I have much to say about this poem or myself. I hope that you like it.
