Analysis of The one

Pin Lim 1982 (Montreal)

When I see you from a distance with a flock of men on your fingertips
I imagine you & me on the dance floor eyes to eyes before locking lips
I wished it can be like that for me to tell you I'm yours
Before the music ends and you go back on your world tour

Wanting to grab your hand and hide behind those curtains walls
Lead you away from the crowd for me to give you my all
To a quiet place for just you and me to explore you in details
Trying to make the most out of the time before you set sail

Nothing really matters Its something I cannot control
Gotta take a chance and put it all on the line body & soul
A little bit scared to find out what's behind your locked door
Am I the key you've been waiting endlessly a lifetime for?

Before the evening ends and the crowds disperse to none
Don't know if I'm going home tonight alone and be on the run
For the night is almost over and a glimpse of the morning sun
One answer shall remain...

Am I the one?
