Analysis of the epitaph
Jacques NZUZI LUZAYISU 1964 (KINSHASA)
Cemetery like an open - air library,
Gravestones like half - open cookery
Book with melancholic prefaces,
And tombs show the late parents' faces.
The journalist who covered events anyplace,
The man with a different race,
The unborn child who didn’t see the light,
And the boy who was killed in the fight.
The lady who met a maniac,
The president who accepted a remark,
The young girl deceived by her chum,
And the woman who trust in her charm.
Everybody found the death on his way.
Guilty or not guilty, they all rest far away...
And the tragedy was there!
Shouldn’t they die somewhere?
Rest in peace has consoled the family,
And this prayer has become more familiar.
On the tomb an admirer signed his autograph,
Which expresses sorrow through the epitaph.
