Analysis of RUNDOWN BATTERY BLUES

I've got those rundown battery
Those rundown battery blues,
I know your love for me
Has surely rundown too.

You have to do your own thing
And I'm always left alone,
I look for you, babe
But you're never here,
You're off having fun
Somewhere on your own.

If I'm on the beach
Then you're in the park,
You're always out of reach
And I'm in the dark.
You loved me once
And I love you still,
But your cheating heart
Was honed to kill.

You're on the sand
When I'm out to sea,
You're out of hand
So very cold to me.
You're on the run
I'm standing still,
I can't match your pace
And I never will.

THE END
