Analysis of Looking forward

All things happen for a reason
That's what people say.
You will find yourself where you are meant to be
Don't yearn for yesterday.
Cherish each passing moment, embrace what lies ahead
What has gone cannot be rewritten
Put the past to bed.
But when memories come a-calling
Greet them with a smile,
They helped define just who you are
Through every adventure and trial.
