Analysis of Fish and chips

Royston 1946 (Reading)

Fish and chips down at the seaside
washed down with a bottle of wine.
A beautiful woman sat at my side
‘twas a wonderful way to dine.

The sun shone in a sky so clear
as the waves broke upon the shore.
‘was great to be with you my dear;
for you’re the one whom I adore.
