Analysis of Forgotten Love
Corina H. Ramirez 1964 (San Angelo)
Those were the happiest
Times that we shared,
Just being in your arms
Nothing will ever compare.
Then something went wrong
And we drifted apart,
You left me for someone else
And left me with a broken heart.
But now you're back and
Stirred up all the good memories,
That were hidden away
Like the untold stories.
It all seems like a dream
That I don't want to awake,
All those happy memories
I pray they are not fake.
Our love is much stronger
To survive through anything,
Cause blood is thicker than water
I'm your puppet on a string.
We both had love
We both felt the pain,
I'll take the sunshine
Over the rain.
