Analysis of Taboo

One touch a little rough
Is this real, it feels like too much
Trying to decipher is it love or is it hate
The next time it may just be too late
A push to the bed is he getting frisky
Then comes the choke, this seems risky
The next thing I see is a fist to the face
Now I know I am a disgrace
What did I do this time around
Why am I laying on the ground
Did I fall asleep or was it forced
I want to talk but I am too hoarse
Is this reality, must be a dream
Wait a minute, I remember the screams
I have to be quiet and find a way out
This is reality, there is no more doubt
Please let me get away from this hell
Please let me break this cruel spell
I crawl through the open door
I can't take this anymore
I am ready to be free again
I am not ready for my life to end
They are here to take me away
Now is the time I start to pray
Which hospital miss, you can not stay
Take me anywhere but here I say
Tomorrow I will awake safe and secure
Will I remember all I have had to endure
Today I am free and safe
So far away from that dark place
