Analysis of GUILT

I didn't kill her but they think I did. I would try to prove my innocence if only I hadn't hid. They're on the hunt and I'm the game; please believe me I'm not to blame. Running, panting, longing to be free, the one to blame is not me! Trees pass as my legs move faster, I think Ii'm starting to remember something, some kind of disaster. I don't know where I'm running but I seem to know the way. There I see it as clear as day. Buts there’s sirens, shouting, barks and more, oh yeah I'm approaching death’s door. People approaching from afar, more glimpses of the past I see a car. As the memories piece together I realized that the decision was rash, some kind of drunken crash. But what was this guilt longing to be free , me and my daughter no this can't be. Blood, cars and something that weighed a ton, back to the present in my mouth points a gun. I stick my hand out to stop whoever's there, but there's no one for it is my guilt to bear bare. Hearing a voice to return to the mental health unit but it's too late, I'm about to lose it. Squeezing the trigger this will not be in vain. Finally I can just be with my daughter, my sweet little Jane.
