Analysis of Sunflower
I lay on the soft grass,
waiting for the clouds to pass,
and see their unimaginable shapes,
as they put on the Sun golden drapes.
And then I caught sight of heads,
all blond and woven with fine threads,
and a pleasure came on my face,
to feel the sunflowers wind embrace.
My mind drifted to their yellow clouds,
which at once made me feel none a doubt.
Oh look at their perfect petals,
all looking like blooming crystals.
And oh the smile they wore on their face,
made me smile, sorrow a wild goose chase,
and they touched my tender heart,
as they gently tore the wind apart...
Nothing to think, nothing to do,
just stay here forever I felt,
no more sorrow, no more woe,
just stay before these golden knights knelt.
Their fine crowns, the yellowest of yellows,
their voice caring full of mellow.
and their jubilant song heard in the mind,
of all those who sorrow find.
A sight for sore eyes,
which speak no lies.
a sight of utmost beauty.
Look into their truthful eyes,
look at what I can see,
the memories faded where jubilance lies,
where allowed is no melancholy.
Oh these dear sunflowers,
can give me such powers,
to defeat my sorrow and my fear,
to protect all I keep dear.
Oh what a message from you oh flower,
you are a wisdom shower,
I have found my most valuable treasure,
which is beyond measure.
Oh sunflower glory plant!
Oh you sing the happiness chant.
Oh you are the finest queens,
in a field evergreen.
Please stay with me,
always.
Make me happy,
help me pave my ways.
And I pick a flower lying on the ground,
placing it in my book leather bound.
"Help this book of wisdom too," I say,
and go along on my way,
to brighten everyone's day,
with my new-found knowledge,
the most precious wedge.
