My connection to domesticated dogs
Kinda closer as a manly thing for dudes
But in reality in this dog eat dogs civility
Sorta f__ k's up your leveled mentality

As if everything around you are morbid
Then questionable Papal's visit forbids
By the man made religion our very own mortality
My late maternal grandfather, Fidel, showed me clarity

The fanatics, heretics, infidels or devotees as in devout
Had similar ambitions or goals in self purity that counts
An image on a pedestal for intercession
Gone along with heresy world's  procession

My thoughts went into segway detour way
Factual happenstances so powerful today
Pope Francis is a man sent by the Vatican
Let me get back to my writing pros and cons

Speaking of stray cats being adorable survivor
Heard about them having 9 lives' fervor
Need not be petted, they just disappear to hide
In the midst of suburban domesticated wild

Unlike the abandoned canines without master
The felines lived to be a scratcher and snatcher
Survival of the fittest with "meow" kinda way
Like wolves in the jungle they eat their prey

So my friend, this is nothing but a thing
Being straight forward, honest not deceiving
As my grandpa told me, my church is within
Think I'm just gonna pray egocentrically in vain!
