Analysis of When Is Night?
When is night?
That darkened realm
Of tranquil thoughts
Where peace abounds
Calm and pure
Mid starry skies
As wisdom speaks
Dispelling lies
Moonlit lakes
Of placid bliss
Glassy water
Nature’s kiss
When is night?
I think I know
A cricket’s chirp
The firefly’s glow
The dancing wind
Among the trees
God’s greatest gift
Are all of these
When is night?
The setting sun
Just after dusk
When day is done
When is night?
Tomorrow’s dream
The peaceful sleep
Under starlight’s gleam
The rising tide
And ocean wave
That cleanses all
With power to save
When is night?
When all is right
Of all that’s best
Of all that’s bright
This is night
