Analysis of "The Movie Theater”

The character is sprawled across the pavement,
Hoping, grasping for any miracle to save her,
The audience holds their breath, for they have no idea what may happen,
The lead finds a way out of her dilemma, a solution for all of her problems,
A way to end the movie so that everyone is satisfied,
The screen goes black, applause is heard everywhere in the room,
But before long, the group of people grab their popcorn and sodas,
Heading out the door and greeting the warm sunlight for the first time in 2 hours,
Their eyes adjust to the new environment, their brain adjusts to reality,
Knowing that once they leave, they’re no longer transported to that utopian world,
But that experience will never leave their mind,
For the movie theater is a magical place.
