Dead and Living Things

These perfectly elongated teardrops
Are living cellular sculptures.
Their bladelike edges slice the air,
As they gently fall to earth.

Their spear tips – razor sharp, drop like feathers,
But their soft, delicate bodies
Soon harden and crack...

Soulmates

Amazing
Don't know where the days went
Time try to change me
Won't let that break me

Incredible
Live gets the best of you
Makes a mess of you
Wham....something blesses you

Contagious
How my mind races
Go through tough stages

From Here to There

The many roads in life can lead
You almost anywhere
To see much beauty that will need
A lot of time while there!

A GPS and map can show
The way to any site.
You might find things you did not know
Were there with much delight!

But there's...

Oh Love If You Remember Me

Oh, love, if you remember me, 'tis true,
A faded echo whispered soft and blue.
Like distant music, on the wind, it floats,
A melody of moments, shared in secret notes.

Did stolen glances, laughter light and free,
Leave any trace, within your...

Love's Flower

When in love, you flew.
You worry not,
Nor do you toil,
But spin, you do,
And being pollinated:
Clothed in royal splendor
And colorful hue,
You are at ease,
Even if your hard to please.

You were glad.
The season’s change,
Now your sad.

Beth

She knew full well
Her boyfriend was violating me
She knew from the beginning
She knew I was a young teen
He was a grown man
Selling himself
In exchange for me
She knew everything
She agreed from the beginning
To keep his vile secrets

A Distress Cry

I cried to the Lord with my voice,
In pleading for mercy from the Lord;
Supplication that’s not of choice,
Hoping that it is not ignored.

I pour out my quetch before Him,
Telling him about my trouble;
Of how it is making megrim.
Burden...

Fowl Play

A farmer's child who was so mild
Played Chicken with a hen.
They both ran for an egg before
The other one, but then,

A fox came by who thought he'd try
To grab the tasty egg.
He ran real hard across the yard,
But fell and hurt his leg!

"Eternal Dance of Destiny"

In the dance of fate, our paths did cross,
Two souls entwined, neither at a loss.
In every glance, a world did unfold,
A tale of love, forever to be told.

In your eyes, I see the stars so bright,
Guiding me through the darkest night.
In your...
