Pardon

Pardon me, is this your life,
So fruitless and unfair?
Pardon me, is this your soul,
In sadness and despair?
Pardon me, is this your brain,
Without a thought or care?
Pardon me, is this your heart,
Empty, vapid, and bare?
Pardon me, are these your eyes,
Behind them do you stare?
Pardon me, are these your hands,
Which break, destroy and tear?
Pardon me, are these your feet,
Trampling on dreams with flair?
Pardon me, are these your lips,
Untruth to which you swear?
Pardon me, is this yourself,
You dropped without a spare?
