What can be done?

Demerye 2004 (Anambra west)

What can be done?
What!
When what we have gathered in ages vanish in minutes
When all our feelings haunts us with rages
When life, life we supposed to enjoy hammers us at the face

What can be done?
What!
When we spill our cup and blame our neighbors
When we fight each other and ask where the blood that flows on the road emanates from.

For we are our own problem
We humans
We double cross our own being
And we  have erred against our existence
And now, it's a sweet pain on our backbones

If a whole community were murdered, there will be justice
But if a community took her own life

What can be done!

About this poem

It's high time we wake up We humans ,to understand that we are our own problem. And no one will come out with a solution except us who knows the root of our problem. Let's make the world a better place. For no one will help us except us
