Well, Will There?

Will there ever be a time that you look at me, like I’m actually the only one for you? ‘Cause I miss that….

Will there ever be a time that you don’t find a way to ruin the mood when we could have an enjoyable time that doesn’t involve sex? ‘Cause that really hurts…

Will it ever actually be more than just sex to you? ‘Cause it makes me feel empty, so empty, when it’s always about sex, and you make sure not to look at me…

Will there ever be a time you don’t have something to complain about or feel the need to say something about how I do something or what I do? ‘Cause I’ve ran out of options….

Will I ever be enough for you? ‘Cause I don’t have any fight left, I’m exhausted….

Will any of this ever actually mean anything to you? Or will it always just be whatever, a space filler, time-killer? ‘Cause I’m drained so much I’m empty….

Will I ever just accept that this is all it will ever be? It will never go back. ‘Cause there isn’t much left inside of me anyway….
