We march

Immersed in this ocean of knowledge,
In this great fountain of wisdom,
Where lies a great lot leveraged,
Where we are all one,
I cannot but affirm all day long
That this is where I belong
Oh, how blessed am I
Not I alone, but all of us,
For from the depths of our minds,
Shines with fervour a great light

Out unto these rain-ridden roads,
We march!
And in the midst of these freezing colds,
We march!
From the cock crow to the cricket chirp,
We march!
And into the thick and dark,
We march!
Wondering if success awaits from afar,
We march!

No retreat, no surrender
That is discipline
Our cards we shall render
So wide are our wings,
We can almost fly at our whim
Although it pains, it pays
But, of course, one needs to pray;
For without it, he shall fade
And like the dust scattered by the winds,
None of whose particles embrace

And here in this parched rugged terrains
Friendship reigns
Here in this magnificent setting
We meet as we await our parting
What is it that we lack?
Sometimes, nourishment
Other times, impact
What do we have?
Peace that makes no sense,
Pain, love and friends

Oh, how noisy the classes are!
Why?
Well, I believe the students are ready,
But the teacher is busy
With what, please?
Maybe leaving the flock
And feeding the fold
Behold, the teacher has come,
But the noise persists?
Yes, it does;
For not every student listens
