Analysis of W.W.S.D.?

What if I took extra precautions
& took extra care of myself,
would that make a difference?
I guess my skin is taking a hit, of course,
the best I've ever felt about it yet
I still hate my appearance.
Hit rock bottom, suddenly everyone's interested?
"I cant be with someone who abuses substances"
Look how much time has passed yet
you're still so invested?!
Spent my entire life lonely yet surrounded
No one gives a fuck until I'm suicidal
then they just sit there dumbfounded.
& then turn around and say,
"I'll always be here if you need it!"
But at my lowest, most desperate points
I'd reach out & the fucking time was inconvenient!
When will the time be right for you people?
Because, to be honest, it won't ever be
It's not like I've ever been treated as an equal
Never taught to love myself,
only how to conform,
Throw me out into the world, filled with
so much trauma
Then laugh at me when simple tasks feel impossible to perform
Older generations think they know-it-all
How can you be so dense?
Angry 'cause your parents didn't show you love,
So you go & do the same fucking shit,
make it make sense!!
Passing down the generational curse,
"Be glad you don't have my mom,
her 'whoopins' were way worse!"
Suffocating me with unnecessary stress,
For people who hate everyone,
you sure have a lot of them to impress!
All of you should find a therapist
...or TWO...
in most situations, instead of ignoring me,
you should be asking yourselves,
WHAT WOULD SAM DO?
