why can't I speak?

If pain is beauty,
then I must be gorgeous.

I feel like I'm in a fever dream
Might just be the nicotine
Sparks running through my veins
How long until it hits my brain
Let me sleep alone one night
Resting shouldn't be a fight
Too much time spent by myself
