Why I Envy the butterfly

I envy the butterfly;
And why?
She not me is able to fly
Away
Away from life's mundane crawl

She picks up her wings.
Delicately powdered things,

This poem why I envy the butterfly reflects on an individual's struggle with change and personal growth, it compares it to the metamorphosis of the butterfly. Though we are not perfect we strive continually to become better versions of ourselves. And it is not easy, it takes a lot of self reflection and sometimes it's all about accepting that we cannot make ourselves perfect. In our own human efforts and hand it over to the Redeemer himself. To clothe us in his righteousness.
