I hate them so much
Bright and budding happiness
That makes me feel empty when it’s not there
Peace and harmony
Is always followed by rage and hate
And love, the most wanted of them

Nothing affects me
Because I built walls
Because of what happened
When I was young
I built walls
So I could survive
And nothing would hurt me
No anguish
No depression
No anxiety
No fear
No grief
But I never realized that that numbed...
