I am a disabled retired teacher. I have had 109 surgeries. I am married going on 48 years. I have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren. I love music, art, writing, photography, reading and swimming. I am a Christian and my place of peace is by the ocean, rivers, lakes or streams.

The Gloaming

America is in the gloaming
That place between night and day
Not quite overcome by darkness
Nor in the light that shines the way. 
We're straddling a fence 
Which way will we fall
Into more sin and degredation 
Or into hope for us all
Rise up...
