Lover's Tango

Her love
Her life
Her hopes
Her dreams

Ripped to shreds
Split at the seams

NEVER TO LOVE AGAIN
She told herself
A belief she held so dearly

Until Romeo came along
The night the of lovers came
In which Dream Weaver became their love song
She never was poignant

Their eyes met on the dance floor
Should I love again?
She asked herself once more

That very dance that I, so tenderly hate
Was it destiny or was it fate?
A tearful instance of a balanced set
Was one that which my parents first met
