In Retrospect

Quaid-Uz-Zaman 1954 (Jamalpur)

Around the pith of theirs heart
lie the annual rings
narrow
or
thick
with visuals and
scriptures
to tell the time not by any virtual clock
but kept reserved in frozen steps
and with
flaps of Archaeopteryx
-periods all along alive.
