Frozen Butterfly Wings

Branches-- unfold
cell communications glow.
Axons grow.
Vectoring to what we know.

Tell me a story that cannot be read.
Blurring the lines of my dreams.
Tearing the cloth at the seams.
Fusing to build memories.

Mystery tones.
Bleed into an ear of stone.
Pheramones.
Fear it could be something more.

Though im alive, i can float as if dead.
A stranger who wanders in my head.
Maybe youll meet him instead.
Bending the lens, infrared.

Guess that i did it again.
I thought too much.
So tell me the way i should feel.
Where the minds should touch.
Woke from that nightmare again,
of an insane world.
Thought that the light was my friend,
but it just don't talk...

Ahhh.  All the substance of a dream.
Ahhh.  Hanging by a string...

Everything, has it's price.
Even wings that never fly.
Every spring, dies in ice.
Frozen butterfly wings.

Entropy face. Fell into an empty space.
Phoinex in flames.  Ashen slightly bitter taste.

Sweetest illusions will always persist.
Haunting the core, of my mind.
Burning the lids of my eyes.
Piercing the veil of disguise.

Darkness my new friend.  Friend until the very end.
Plasma light.  Friction from the waves of sin.

State of confusion, i cease and desist.
Awaiting prometheus unbound.
Starting to lift off the ground.
Riding that perilous sound.

Apex looking down, feeling small.
Not gonna stretch my neck, just to feel tall.
Woke from the nightmare again, of an insane world.
Some things are better left alone.  Better unsaid.

Ahhh.  All becoming just a dream.
Ahhh.  Fading from the scene.

Everything has its price.
Even wings that used to fly.
Every spring, dies in ice.
Frozen butterfly wings.

Frozen butterfly wings...
Frozen butterfly wings...
