Forlorn Nightmares

A heavy cold veil covers my eyes and envelops me so...
In this place All my hopes and dreams were stolen some time ago
the howling wind sends a shiver down my spine,
i see thousands of graves with nothing but a name: mine!

the clouds drag themselves across the fenereal sky...
My fears and doubts forcing me to comply
The maggots break from the ground and tear at my flesh
Matters not, the time passed, the wounds always look fresh..
The darkness obnubilates my heart...
How I wish from this place I could depart...

I'm covered in heavy chains that pull at my soul
As The dusk brings a gaggle of nightmares untold
The son of the Morningstar watches the show.
and on his shoulder, there sits a black crow,
He laughs in jest as he speaks:
It's no one's fault you were this weak.
I try and move but I'm kept still...
By a greater force against my will...

I'm surrounded by souls that share the same fate
So many wanting but unable to escape
Yet some of us have accepted our destiny
And some even revel in this cacophony
But suddenly, and without warning...
The truth in the distance I see arriving...
and through my heart runs a deleterious knife:
I promptly wake up to my life!
