Happy Easter My Teddy Bear

Happy Easter My Teddy Bear
To Amanda my forever Teddy Bear
Before you were born I knew I loved you with all of my heart.
You was My Teddy Bear from the start.
The apple of my eye, the every beat of my heart.
I had bought you a Teddy Bear light so you wouldn’t be afraid of the dark.
It was lost in the shuffle then found and got broke.
You have always been My Teddy Bear from the start
The apple of my eye, the every beat of my heart.
I was recently at a store and so this teddy bear lamp.
It’s identical to the one that I had got you so many years ago.
It brought tears to my eyes, seeing this lamp and remembering you so small.
So many tears and emotions, running through me all at once.
I had to buy it for you so you can pass it along.
I rebuilt the switch, chord and bulb. It’s as good as new.
You have always been My Teddy Bear from the start
The apple of my eye, the every beat of my heart.
You will always be My Teddy Bear.
I love you so much and so very proud of the woman that you have become.
I love you, my teddy bear.
Love,
PaPa
