I slept my days

How can i tell them ,
My most favorite thing in the world,
The very pleasure i derive from my being ,
Has turned against me.
Day has turned to night.

I fell prey to its abundant gift,
Has my joy to play in the great beyond lost its curse ?
Im i too full?
Stay in bed with me ,
My nights have turned to days.

I thought i had had my grasp to you,
Thought i could survive with you
By you,
In this dreadful endless days ,
You had to remind me,
Oh yes! You had to show me, everything has limit,
My days were to seem endless, but
My nights have turned to days .

I believed that you could break the dates of the calendar,
Months to merely days ,days to years ,
Fight for the peace of my mind ,
Win the battle against time,
Yet, My days have turned to nights .

Stay , please stay,
Times are dark now.,
I need a shelter. In this endless days and hopeless nights,
I need the sun in this darkest hour.
