Angles from the remains of your candle

Angles from the remains of your candle
By: Ahmed  Fadl  Shablol
Translated by: Hassan أHegazy Hassan

Your eyes..
 or your lips..
My sweetheart...
Calling me..
to enter the world from its green doors..
Or the blueness of the sea...
On your apricot dress..?

Our coffee will not get cold now..
Nor tomorrow...
Ask Allah for her...
Coffee, singing  more
and wakefulness
  Despite the wind of heart
And the uprising of boredom
 These mornings ..
That spent their night here
Were angels of...
The remains of...
your candle
These evenings..
That slept with me
I pity them..
From your sunset's Smile..

Let me for your hands' waves
My sweetheart
Swim in its palms
Sleep in its river
And wake
On its sun
I beg you to stay
In my fingers..
In my eyes
Beg you….
For supplication
to protect me

I told the sea.
To wander
On my affairs
Give me a port
On the beaches of insanity
Or pearls..
For my drunkenness
And certainty

I told lies honestly
And the truth falsely
In my suspicion
So do not bet on my horses
Or on my  ship
But
To bet
That I live in your eye
my best years.
