Concerns Of Elderly Parents

Today
We are parents
Tomorrow
You will be parents
We did our utmost best
We played, worked, looked after
For your pleasure
For your happiness
For your career and future
To nourish and create you
As incredible part of society
We succeeded struggles
After a long journey of life
We became old and tired
And also alone
We stay alone even having children
Since you have a busy life
However, you have time
For friends and their Birthdays
And Celebrations, but
You don't have a little time
For your elderly parents
Most of you ignore
And even forget your parents
You only visit them
On religious occasions and Birthdays
The rest of the year, you don't care
Ah, what will be the coming societies
We sow selfishness; indeed,
We will reap that, nothing else
Today we are alone
Tomorrow you will be alone
Who will reverse such society
Where care, love, respect
And devotion stayed
As the core principles
For humans and humanity,
Living together.
