Christmas, Anew

Woman and child,
in cave--oxen, sheep, hay,
angels' chorus, celestial light,
Heaven meets earth this night.

Seekers follow a bright, lone star,
Babe-- in obscurity born,
Prince of peace He is called,
Prophets and shepherds adore,
silently, Love transforms,
Christmas -- anew-- joy to all.
