The curse of the black cat

Ron and I were walking on our way home from school
A black cat crosses our pathway and it turns our heads
We chase after the cat to scare the dickens out of him
A barking dog comes charging at us from behind
“0h my gosh! It’s the curse of the black cat
We try to jump a fence but the pit bull grabs hold of my pant leg
I let out a screech as my best friend hauls me over in time
Standing on the other side, we stare at the growling dog
The canine starts to dig a hole underneath the fence, so we take off
Almost at my house, the black cat is sitting waiting in our pathway
We divide around the cat and go into my home to lock the door
