something non-existent

Thought I had it all figured out
But the love that came over me filled me up and left me in  a drought,
Thought I had to give just to keep you. Putting me in places that I don't want to feel. I don't know these roads anymore,It's not the pain I know that I can get through. It was the thought of losing you to things that were so untrue. Wasn't no truth just lies, wasn't no love just lust. I t was a fabrication that came in like a bright shiny light that quickly faded. But as always sunshine comes after the rain I'll get to smile again.
