Cloudy Day

Gray clouds
Casting skies
Painted over blue skies
Looking like suddenly rain
But I think God had other plans.
Somewhere in His big brain
He may do something else
To these dark skies
And transform it into
Maybe
Just maybe something else.

Perhaps repaint the skies
To other colors of the rainbow
Or perhaps readjust those
Heavenly jewels above
Challenging or perhaps
Divine in a small way.

But who knows the mind of God
But God Himself who
Created the Earth in 6 days
And on the 7th He rest
From His work.

Gray clouds
Cloudy overcast skies
Seems no hope for another
Blue sky day today
But maybe on the tomorrow
There maybe
Or perhaps maybe not
But we'll see...
