Mama

I do not know the meaning of thank you!
I have lost it and it's true.
I say it all day for the sake of it
I just want to be courteous
That's the trend now

But mom...

When I ride all night to come see you,
When I sit down and look at you,
Eyes say a great deal of unsaid things
I may not know what they say,
But you do.
Please accept it.

You expect to see me upright,
 I expect myself to be too.
I don't refuse.
But it sounds a burden
But some how I believe,I will reach.
Even when I don't know how to.
