Better Left

Better left unspoken,
Are the words you have spoken.
Better left unheard
Are the sounds of drums
From my heart you have stirred.
Slicing the skin Like cuts of glass,
We're the scornful whispers of your words
Better left unspoken, better left unheard.

Better left unknown
Are the feelings in your heart
Better to run, don't stop once you start
For his heart is made of stone

Better left without a trace
No trail, no mark, not a single thing
Why can't you see what's right in your face,
Like the devil,, only true disaster he will bring.

Better never to feel what isn't to be felt
Setting your soul of fire, just to watch it melt.
Better I know what I never knew
Unspoken truth, without a sound,
A love I lost, but I never really found.
Better you know, for these words are true.
