The poet'S crop.

The poet’s crop
From the field of
Life where he or she
Strives to ensure
Satisfaction.

But it is an art
Of varied expression
And various bards
Contribute to its
Mission.

A contribution
Of prose, rhythm,
Rhyme, post modern,
And avante garde, to
The chosen subject.

Thus, may they have
The help of bardic spades
To enter the soil of poetry
And there produce an artistic
Composition of versification.

A poem perhaps not accepted
By all but reflects the poet’s
Endeavour while revealing
The heart and the soul of
Our bardic art.
