Midnight Fall
new the branches midnight fall
the bitter taste of it’s moments to call
today i stand fully erected like a port at storm
chasing the dreams from my head
sharpen your arrows along the path
do the math then react
taste the folly gone before us
whisper in a quaint chorus
blinded by vain ambition
was their something else you have been missing
the common leaves fell below the trees
Dig if you will a picture ocean's the volume of blue
Deep in the holster of common thought
through rhymes that are chosen like a vessel unarmed
light the pathway to its least resistance
I can dream about you in the silver sun
saving friends toward a lot of fun from beyond
in the city where day light is pretty
Cruising down the Sunset strip I want to flip
the microphone in my hand made for you to understand
