Poetic Carousel Pt. I

(1) Midas Touch

my meager skull personates the granduer
the illustrative muse above the challenge
to care to share to point out the queer
lines are being drawn in the sand
.......................................................................
forbidden torment
when to understand,
words can create a lasting void
share with others your unique words
......................................................................

perchance to dream to charm away
with words to say out on the golden pond
to dream emerge the better man
painted sky with colors of vast duration

........................................................................
stay strong in the moment

(2) Dolphin's Stream

out in the vast ocean blue
there are clues of what you need to do
to visit the combersome notion of the plains
the artist takes out their canvas
......................................................................................
away from forbidden hearts
onto a newer way torn shades of grey
to charm the most
like a lost seagull heading off on the coast
.............................................................................................
we close our eyes from the way of the stream
Dolphin's soar and begin all over again
beautiful noises it makes to the faint cry of a passerby
shadows block the vortex on each passing note
..............................................................................................
go deep stand still & repeat

(3) Never Surrender

girl your all that I'm asking for
just a little more time can open closing doors
just a little uncertainty can bring you down
when you bottom drops out never surrender
...........................................................................................
when you car has a busted up fender
hold fast with two hands when to understand
words can cut deep stand still to repeat
shades of black with a touch of grey
.............................................................................................
when your alone in your own little pit never give up never quick
move to your center that is your right
never relent to give up on the fight
inside we hide behind four walls that bind
...............................................................................................
faster and faster
take the trash out
learn to make your mark
this is your moment

(4) Carry On

shades of sadness
shards of grey
stay humble enough to pray
a very good cause to stay
.......................................................................................................
although you can walk through the miracle mile
it helps to raise the chord of contentment,
isn't it a coincidence at a glance
learn to walk over hot lava coals
............................................................................................................
hold dear to your own
long lines we have acquired toward the way
free as a bird as long as you stay
red, black & grey

..............................................................................................................
carry on with a song in your heart
through the conclave of love's parting view
remain strong to the end my faithful friend

(5) Business As Usual

it isn't casual its business as usual
through every bend in the road
beneath the swell you glare
none the worse for wear
................................................................................
love can change the stance of a lonesome child
love is in the miracle business
out of every circumstance
dig deep my friend
....................................................................................
drive back the dagger from my heart
everyday there's a brand new baby born
every night got the sheets to keep me warm
don't ever curse the day you were actually born
.................................................................................
another page is turned
one soul soars while the other will burn
carry on with a song in your heart to impart
the magical chord connection out of every direction
.....................................................................................
Tom Petty had every reason to fly
Hendrix worked on his magic fly
business as usual stand in the middle playing second fiddle
radiate with cadence
..........................................................................................
filtered through a song
