Poemish

Liam Ó Comáin

A poem is an expression of love
For its ultimate source
Is our Creator
Whose nature is 'love'.
~
The poet is the spade
Which ensures the arrival
Of the fruit previously planted
And streaking across
The aeons of existence.
~
Thus, as a spade
We are handled by Love
And that is why
We are poemish.
