When you are asleep or awake
Someone diligently guards you anonymous
When you feel lonely and forlorn
Someone props up your spirits anonymous
When you are at cul-de-sac or at cross-roads
Someone walks you up the pragmatic path anonymous
When you feel weak and tempted to cry off
Someone encourages you to hang on that extra second anonymous
When you fail repeatedly and feel like resigning
Someone lights up the other end of tunnel anonymous
Well, we take things for granted and
Never thankfully acknowledge the anonymous
It is our Senses, our Poise, our Reason, our Character and
Our Hope that benignly lie within us anonymous
