Oh, let us salute and admire our Provisional Volunteers
Who bravely fought, suffered, and died for our native
Land, whether on the Field of Battle or in the hell hole
Of Long Kesh …
In doing so let us reject those within the Provos who by
Following the path of Collins and de Valera abandoned
Our peoples election victory of nineteen and eighteen
And by doing so reinforced British occupation and partition.
“We are on our way to freedom”some of their leaders
Expressed but their egos led them to deny our thirty two
County Republic which was proclaimed in nineteen and
Sixteen by Commandant Patrick Pearse.
A Republic declared after our people voted in the 1918
Election but a democratic expression and demand by our
People was opposed by the imperial leadership of the
Island of Britain...
Now! willingly supported by those not fit to untie the laces
Of the late Bobby Sands. The voice of our people and our
Right to self- determination is now abandoned by those
Too busy counting English sterling with both hands!
