A Photograph

I have not retained a photograph
Of my parents except that which
Hangs in my memory: Mother sits
In an armchair and Father stands
Erect by her side where flowers
Bloom near to her feet and by a
Lattice wall there is a butterfly
Flying around various
Coloured roses.
